We took the baby grandson to the zoo. There was no smoking anywhere near the actual zoo.
The one time I decided to go smoke a cigarette, I had to walk out from the big zoo and go all the way to
the road past the parking lot.
Then I had to go back into the zoo and hunt down my husband and son and grandson.
This was before I had a cellphone.
When I thought about going through this again, I knew I was through with smoking and then quitting
drinking alcohol just seemed to follow.
This was 21 years ago. I miss neither of those habits.
