We almost always had to wear jackets over our costumes, which sucked, unless we had costumes that could be worn over jackets.

Michigan. Of course some Halloweens were mild. We get all weather. Sometimes all in one day.

Snowed... as a very little girl long ago in Missouri... We were already so bundled up no one could see our costumes...

We had them too in western PA. I t was bummer to wear winter stuff over your costume.

i live in the PNW so every year we went trick or treating with coats over our costumes

Back in the late 1970s, I took my kids trick or treating in 3 inches of snow. In Omaha.

Can't say when we trick or treated in our apt building but when we went to the NJ burb it was usually dry..
