57. In the south, we never had to worry about snow in October.

Or, it being cold. One of the things that I remember the most was the fact that it was always hot as hell. Those old costumes were made of unbreathing plastic, and we would sweat like anything. The smart kids were the ones who dressed as Tarzan/Jane, The Flintstones, or as First Nations people. The rest of us just dripped. We did not care though. We were getting candy!
