(34,051 posts)It does not matter what I do with it it will be straight. It will always be in my face unless I tie it back but even then I must clip the sides because it is so fine it comes out of anything I tie it with. If I gather it all up to tie back it is about the thickness of a fat pencil even though I have a ton of hair it is just too fine. It is very very slow to grow, about an inch every 2 years so I am not going to cut it.
I am sitting here with my favorite birthday gift from my husband, a Roger Federer cap! It is now my "fer spacial" hat. We live on the farm, tee shirts and jeans all the time and a cap to keep me from eating my hair. (I do have a dress up job but it is like a part time job and I have to dress up and be on stage so the rest of the time is simple as can be) Good to see someone else here who lives this way.
