13. A friend's words to his wounded, despairing friend

"That there's some good in the world ... and it's worth fighting for."

A teacher and a principal gave their lives trying to protect those children. The first responsors, the medics, the police faced that horror and did their duty. People are coming in from around this country to give aid and comfort. People everywhere are saying "Enough!" and will work to make it so.

You rest, weep and mourn as we all will. Then, as we must, rise, shoulder the burden and fight for the good.
