(4,056 posts)I'm an agnostic, albeit I was not always so. But from when I did have a belief in the supernatural to now that I'm in my skeptical dotage, one thing has not changed: we must live life to its fullest. We must find what makes us content, interspersed with those thrilling moments of bliss that get us out of bed each morning, and we must follow it. We must gather to us those we love, who value us as we value them, and give them the best we have to offer.
Cuz y'know why? If this life is a gift from God, we owe it to him to live it fully. If there is no god, then it's all we got, and we owe it to ourselves to live it fully. Even if we're reincarnated and get to do it all again, we have to live a full life so we don't repeat lessons not learned.
Any way you slice it, the journey is more important than the destination.
