Charleston is a great place to visit, but unless you like red-neck racist good ol boys who fly the confederate flag, or lots of military guys, and local girls who prey on those military guys - oh the stories I could tell . . . stay away. Far Far away.
Unless you can live on the Beach. Then I'd go.
