9. The interesting thing my wife and I have pondered a time or two...

Bottom feeders and "filter" species seem to be some of the tastiest seafoods... catfish, crab, lobster, oysters, clams, mussels, etc... Of course, it's my contention that everything in a bio-system has it's purpose, and lot's of unused nutrients in waste and carrion gets turned into proteins/sugars/what-have-you in "lower" species, which in turn makes them good eats for us, completing the cycle.
