I hate pink.

And, whenever I talk about this, someone will inevitably become offended. I apologize in advance. I'm sick of breast cancer awareness. I'm not unsympathetic. I'm just wondering why we can't get the same attention for sick, abused, neglected, starving, undereducated, homeless, orphaned, 'unadoptable', etc...children.

Children can't speak for themselves. I've been close to three women that have had breast cancer. Trust me, they're pretty damned vocal. Two of them work together to organize benefits, walks, etc. That's awesome. Two good friends of mine and I have tried to do the same thing for abused/neglected children. Damn near ZERO response. Someone else's kid, someone else's problem. Kid's don't make enough money, can't vote, hell...they barely have rights.

Sorry for the rant. It just drives me nuts. And, again, I honestly don't mean to offend anyone that has been affected personally by breast cancer. That's honestly not my intent.
