(9,214 posts)67. I'm no big fan although I did like Sgt. Pepper and Abby Road. My main problem
with the Beatles is the amount of radio air time they got. During that same time frame there were so many excellent bands that got little or no air time because of the amount used up by Beatle songs.
This was a time when people got recording contracts for the most part because of their talent and emotion not their looks. I think the Beatles started the change or probably were just a sign of that change.
