Of course it's pure nonsense, but don't start talking about Avogadro's Number, it just gets them confused and even more angry. I got into one of those shitstorms once, too - you try to explain that it's mathematically impossible for any molecules of the substance in question to be present in the expensive water they just bought, and they get all snarly.
Best to leave them alone to play with the anti-vaxxers.
I do like aromatherapy, though. It smells good. And magnets are great for sticking things to your fridge.
