which increases the humidity but lowers the temps a bit.

I picked some of my peppers a bit ago, they were HOT to the touch.
The cherry tomatoes just cooked on the vine.

The summer of 2006 it hit 90 in May and stayed in the 90's till fall. Cooked the humidity out of the air.
As hot as it is this weekend, we have had low 90's and even dipped into high 80's most of the summer.
