6. Until I can get to Chicago to try Hot Doug's
Sun Jan 18, 2015, 03:12 AM
Jan 2015

I'll settle for the Chicago Dog at Sonic. It's cheap and tasty. Like me. We have a place here called Hot Dog Heaven and they are pretty good but the people working there are kinda rude. Not the funny, on-purpose rude that's all in good fun. just ass-holyish. And they cost more than Sonic.

For home dogs it's always Hebrew National. Mustard and relish. My favorite way to cook them is to slice them almost in half and slap them on the griddle while toasting the bun with garlic butter on the other half of the griddle. eta~ sauerkraut. Not always but often enough that I shouldn't have forgotten it.

Second favorite is lots of chili and cheese.
