I'm religious about oil and trans fluid changes......
This thing has the performance software...K@M filter...high flow fuel pump...better injectors....high output coils.......200k miles and this v6 will still hang with most stock v8's.
Driving right is the other key.I watch my mpg register with a passion and try to squeeze every ounce out of it.I reset the register every week or so and pay attention to it.Driving like I have an ounce of common sense helps a bunch
