2. I don't think very many people have him figured out yet.

They don't understand what he is. What he really is is a mean girl.

Read "Queen Bees and Wannabees," by Rosalind Wiseman.

I don't think men usually see queen bees the way women do. Queen bees, who are the "mean girls" in charge of a group, don't treat men the way they treat other women. These guys need a crash course in high school clique behavior. Then they would get it. Then they might know how to deal with him.

The women aren't seeing it, either. They are used to female queen bees and mean girls. Some of them may be queen bees and mean girls IRL. If they ever figure things out, they will be able to handle Colton.

Of course, the answer is to flush out his idol, make him use it, and then vote him out, even if it takes two or three tribals. But first they have to comprehend his personality. They have to stop deferring to him, and isolate him. Queen bees and mean girls can't survive that.

I made it fine through all that in junior high and high school. I laughed at the mean girl behavior and ignored it. Most of those girls became my friends. Some of them are still my friends forty-five years later. I had friends across all cliques and sub-cliques.

It wasn't until I got involved with the Ogle County Democrats that I met really REALLY mean girls. Read "Mean Girls, Meaner Women." I just wasn't prepared for their craziness, for the way they pushed me into a corner and made it look like I was the one picking on their queen bee. What a shock!

I don't think Colton will win this. Some of the people seem to understand what he is once they step outside of the group. Eventually, these people will serve on a jury, and they will compare notes. Someone else will win. PLEASE, if you know who will win, do not post a spoiler here. This show is a guilty pleasure for me.
