3. Chris was one of the greats.

He was my favorite bass player by far, and his harmony (and occasional lead) vocals were an essential element of the classic Yes sound.

I got to see Chris twice. He was a great performer with an engaging stage presence.

His death is a real loss to me. The music he made entertained and inspired me immensely, but, greedy bastard that I am, I wanted one more album.
