Rita is an edgy Danish dramady about a beautiful but cranky schoolteacher. It was an interesting take on how their social systems are so much different than ours.

Bloodline was a slow burn thriller that takes place in the FL Keys.

I've watched most of the shows mentioned upthread all are good recommendations. Right now my spouse and I are binging on The Walking Dead. And I'm taking a break from my usual dark and edgy preferences to binge on The Gilmore Girls which is like giving up filet mignon for cotton candy.
