9. Do I ever know how it feels.

There are so many awful people out there despite our efforts to avoid them.

You know what I do? I give myself a gift every day. Sometimes it's spreading extra butter on my toast, or putting non-reduced-fat dressing on my salad.

Or I hunker down at my puter and order that item I've always intended to get (most recently a stainless steel spider - if you cook you'll know what I mean.) I also ordered a grabber, so I wouldn't cuss excessively when trying to retrieve an item from an upper shelf.

I take my doggie out to the patio to check on my tomatoes, all of whom have names.

I have my share of down days, but you will get through them!
