KE = Kerry/Edwards forum. The official 2004 Democratic Presidential campaign sight. It was my first experience with online political discussion. I don't know if the party still does it that way because there wasn't enough control over the message, and they wanted uniformity over unity.

CGCS = Common Ground/Common Sense. Organizers of the Kerry/Edwards forum decided to start their own discussion forum after the election loss to keep grass roots momentum going. It started off strong but eventually collapsed because of the same mistakes of uniformity over unity, which still plagues American politics in both major parties.

If anyone is curious about the other 2 spinoffs I mentioned, I can tell you what happened as a learning experience; but I won't mention names because names and character are too much of a distraction from issues.
