Dude has a way with a melody ... though he kinda milked pretty much this same song on a few occasions in the Clash and BAD days ... it was still always good ... and Clash would've never been nearly as big without his songwriting skills ... if you ask people to name Clash songs, 90% of people will come up with 1/2 Strummer (London Calling, Should I Stay ...) and 1/2 Jones (Train in Vain (Stand By Me), Rock the Casbah), so that's pretty good evidence I suppose
