The reason I stay away from Asian acoustics is that many used epoxy as a neck joint and the necks can't be reset. The two electrics I own and will probably die with are a Harmony H52 and an early 60's Rocket. With guitars, it doesn't make any difference where they are made-it's the sound. I kept a cheap asian built guitar in the garage for casual party use and all of the guitar players loved it. I simply gave it a good set up and a new bone nut and saddle. Carpal tunnel and arthritis have taken it's toll on my hands, so I don't play out, but I still love to play and ever time I say no more guitars I know I'm lying.
