My interest came on slowly. I really got involved in digital photos when I joined DU, back in 2005. I had a little point and shoot digital camera and I just started taking photos. I loved the freedom of digital and also not having to wait to see the photos!
I did a lot of self-teaching and a few close friends offered tips and answered questions as I grew. Apparently I have the "eye" and that has helped me see the photo before I take it.
A good friend here has been giving me lessons on how to use Paint Shop Pro, for post-processing. It's fun and now I have some great new tools for improving my photos.

I'll be around tomorrow, Saturday. Our monthly contest opens for submissions tomorrow. I have a pretty good photo for that.
