53. Back in the day when "the Shadow knew"

they had to worry about their reputations. Today they don't. Because the reputations they have are no longer considered evil by too many people.

Of course, that came with a price. I remember my mother living in fear during my teens (late 50's theough early 60's) - fear that everything she ot I did would become a part of our "permanent rocord." And for too many good people, that did happen.

But the pendulum has now w=swung much, much too far the other way.
