2. Two examples of reaching across the aisle.

Got this from the Edwards campaign. I didn't ask for a ton of examples, so in addition to the ones, above, they gave two more.



- In 2013, she reached across the aisle to work with fellow Women's Caucus Member, GOP Rep. Jaime Herrera-Beutler to reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act. (An aside, she was instrumental in getting VAWA passed in 1994 as the Executive Director of the National Network to End Domestic Violence, where she also lobbied successfully to pass the Domestic Violence Offender Gun Ban)

- She again worked across the aisle in her capacity as Ranking Member of the Space Subcommittee with a GOP representative to pass a NASA Reauthorization Bill out of the House.
