12. McDowell concedes. Repub Benishek re-elected to a 2nd term

Bummer. On the bright side McDowell did much better this time around then in 2010 when he lost by 11%. Just a little over 2000 votes made the difference this year but McDowell could not overcome the results from the counties in lower Michigan which make up the southern part of the district. Counties that tended to be Republican and gave Benishek the win.
