8. As GOP policy makes the red states poorer and poorer

the GOP reinforce the message among their base that it's the welfare state and taxation for entitlements for 'those' people that's the reason no one can pay to have the roads fixed, that all their tax dollars are going to support undeserving drug-using foreigners in the liberal cities while the truth is that the blue states pay for the red states. They won't rest until the only thing states pay for are police and prisons...and it won't be long before they start sub-contracting policing as well.
