2. The transit system is not so bad in Albuquerque

At least to the main areas: university, airport, central ave, downtown and rail runner.
For a small town at least there are options. I generally shy away from cabs, but in a pinch will use a rental or if I must, a ride share. But the Albuquerque transit works ok, and I think the rail runner is great !
