Bald eagle sticks to nest near Hanover as snow buries it [View all]

The ongoing winter storm on Wednesday, March 21, is burying the bald eagle sitting atop eggs in a nest near Hanover - the one that is the focus of a webcam livestreaming through the Pennsylvania Game Commission website - but the bird continues to protect the two eggs.

Similar scenes are unfolding in more than 200 bald eagle nests across Pennsylvania today, but the nest near Codorus State Park at Hanover is the one being watched by snow-bound enthusiasts through their various screens.

Hatching time could be close.
