2. Talking to people in the midwest, they are complaining about the skies also. It is scary out here in

the Pacific NorthWet, when the rainforests are do dry they are burning. Port Hardy on N Vancouver island has average annual rainfall of 74 inches. The Queets on WA's west coast gets 140 inches.

A big problem for today is that with the smoke in the air already, it is difficult to smell new smoke. And it is really oddly colored out. It looks like evening colors. Probably good for taking photos though.
