Trump's overtures about the NHS in the context of Johnson's desperation for a US trade deal in particular strike a nerve among many in the electorate, and this visit will be well timed as a reminder.

There's also the small matter of the report on Russian interference in UK politics that Jonson & co. are hoping to suppress until after the election, and developments in the current presidential impeachment process may play into that.

Also: "One notch below vile". LOL. Just LOL. In the context of the two rogues that are the OP's actual subject, a sense of proportion is a handy thing to cultivate.
