even now making sure that no substantive investigation takes place.

Since they control the executive branch of government, it is likely that nothing will come of any investigation from here on. Further, they will continue to attempt to consolidate their power and the democratic party is in disarray.

It is a scary time to be a democrat but better that than a traitor.
