I'm thinking it was all BS / attempt to discredit Trump prior to removing him (not that I think Manafort and Flynn are clean). They knew the new admin would not investigate, and that Congress is run by pukes who don't want to investigate.

There's no "we" involved with "letting this traitor serve 4 years." We can't impeach him, we don't get oversies on the vote. Pukes and/or the deep state will have to do it. I'm sure they will as soon as he's outlived his usefulness...which at least one faction is attempting to hurry along.
