I don't understand why parents were hiding their kids' eyes. It's natural sex education: bees do it, birds do it....etc. Besides, you go to the zoo, you take your chances. You may see monkeys boinking or you may get poop thrown at you. We once had a tapir spray us at the Memphis Zoo and THAT was nasty.
