I can't, after googling, but I'd be glad to know if there was one. It seems to me like he votes with the GOP when he's not the deciding vote.

Even having him nominally be a Democrat helps the Democrats when it comes to committee assignments, etc.

It would be great to have a more progressive Democrat in that office, but could it happen?
