HRC should be, and I think she is to a large degree, focusing her message against Trump. Bernie is that irritating fly, that is up to no good and feeds on dog poop that just won't go away. But they are eventually swatted.
Bernie is doing nothing but hurting himself. He will be persona non grata ("Person of no Status" when he returns to the senate. The even sadder thing for him is he'll be but a footnote in history; relegated to the ash heap of other potential spoilers. Even his loyal followers will move on, leaving him to flail away at the establishment as he's done for 35 years without any results to show for all his finger pointing and hand waving.
If there is violent protest and major disruptions at the Democratic convention, there will be no one else to blame but Bernie Sanders. He has incited and encouraged, has not discouraged, has not spoken out loudly and firmly against violent revolt. As a defender of Che Guevara and Fidel Castro and their revolutions, what does he think he inspires when he call for "revolution"?
