(2,450 posts)But he did a lot of things wrong. I proudly voted for him and have no regrets. He's not as liberal as I'd like but he was the right person at the time. He would be the wrong person now. If he was running against Sanders now - I'd still vote for Sanders. The honeymoon is over, move on.
As for what Bernie said about him - he was right.
Obama was naive. Bernie is certainly not the only person to say as much - many Obama supporters did as well.
As for Obama being primaried and a 'coward' - I'd need context because I never heard Bernie say either one of these things. Obama could have stepped up on several issues but didn't. I trusted he knew the chessboard better than I, but that's no longer relevant because .... It's 2015.
None of these tweets matter anyway because this is not 2007, this is an entirely different time, politically.
Context, people.
I voted for Obama because I liked his vision for change. Sanders has the same vision and is even better positioned than Obama was to get the ball rolling on it.
If you think Hillary is an agent for change, you are being played. She is beholden to people that want things to stay exactly the way they are - or worse.
I don't buy the Clinton charm, I know how that goes.
