2. We only have seen the tiniest scratch on the surface, beyond all doubt.

They always felt driven to do everything behind our backs against our neighbors, and the corporate media willingly assissted them by keeping that news out of "our" news. They deliberately conspired to keep us all ignorant, and when some US Americans learned about anything, at all, they had them surveilled, and monitored, and kept files on them.

One example would be when U.S. Americans learned what the US-assisted sadistic, mass-murdering, torturing Augusto Pinochet had been doing with his torture ships, of which "La Esmeralda" was most well known (where an English priest was tortured to death), heard La Esmeralda was stopping by US ports, like San Francisco, in 1974, Longshoremen and many other protesters actually turned "La Esmeralda" back, and kept it from entering San Francisco Bay.

When "La Esmeralda" tried it again, in 1976, people turning out to protest learned the FBI was actually taking their pictures! They were not the people who had done the torturing. (You may remember two American journalists were tortured then murdered by Pinochet in Chile, too.)
