The Lottery which seems appropriate with the environment of today's Republican party. Look it up. You can read it on line.

I am a big Shirley Jackson fan. Her best, other than The Lottery is The Haunting of Hill House, probably one of the best ghost stories ever written. It was made into a movie twice, once great, once horrible, as The Haunting. Do not bother with the remake; it utterly sucks. Instead, watch the more accurate ghostly psychodrama directed by Robert Wise in the early 60's. The best ghost story ever put to celluloid, IMHO.

Just some ramblings on my part. Sorry for the intrusion.
