3. I fully agree, I am sad to say my parents stuck me in a private school

(Catholic) for 8 years and all I heard was how much better were than any of the public school kids. And yes, when we went to public school we did do better than a lot of peers, but not because we were better. We did better because the teachers didn't have to be a referee, cop, social worker, parent, nurse, counselor all rolled into one. They had a pool of children who weren't on survival mode, who would walk home and KNEW the lights would be on, who would walk home and KNEW the fridge would be stocked, who would walk home and KNEW their parents of some one responsible would be there to meet them...why, because private schools have little tolerance for anybody out of the mainstream, for anyone having difficulties and for anyone who might bring their fucking scores down!
