...spouting a certain set of dogmatically defined positions on issues.

I make every effort to not be one of them, but I'm certainly aware of this type. They only hear what they want to hear, and are entirely uninterested in what is and what is not true.

Even if they think they're liberals; they are not, since liberality involves stepping out of predefined and preconceived notions.

The fact is that 1) The increases in carbon dioxide in 2016 are enormous in comparison of everything that's gone before.

2) The world did invest two trillion dollars in solar and wind energy in the last ten years and the expenditure was ineffective at reducing the rate of accumulation of carbon dioxide; in fact the data shows that the opposite result than that which was expected was obtained..

One can or cannot draw conclusions based on these incontrovertible facts, and one screams that anyone who states them is um, "trolling," but I'd rather be accused of being a troll by a fool than to consider that I am just one more asshole embracing lies at the expense of future generations and, in fact, all living things on this planet.
