1. so much waste everywhere this country can't complain, they are at least as guilty.

entire cars destroyed because to repair and sell them after a fire cause the soot to be like acid and rain on a shipping lot with new cars was better fro tax breaks than just plain profit. The cars needed to be repainted that is all. and some of them could have been buffed out.
after a store bankruptcy, better to destroy the goods than give them away because of the tax breaks. Clothing or accessories.
On the positive side, there must be some change in tax law because my local food store, replaces the food every so often and donates it to a local food kitchen, before the expire date. especially produce. Not the cheapest store, but one of the better ones in donating food.
