22. The Bake-a-Dilla

Let me know if you do try it, I want to see what you guys think!

Okay, so everyone likes a sandwich right? Who likes a melty sandwich? I know I do! Do you have flour tortillas? Good! Then you're probably ready! I call this invention.... The BAKE-A-DILLA! It's like a Quesadilla, except it's baked.

The Bake-A-Dilla

1 - flour tortilla
1 - handful of vegan shredded cheese (your preference! I used Daiya)
1 - OPTIONAL: any other filling you might want to add, but I recommend sliced tofurky slices to be honest!

Directions:

-First, preheat your oven to 450 F.

-Now, take the flour tortilla and lay it down on a baking sheet (aluminum foil is fine).

-Take the handful of shredded vegan cheese and spread it over ONE HALF of the tortilla. Not too much, and not so close to the edges.

-Next, place whatever other filling you had in mind on top of the cheese half. I like to take 3 slices of ham and fold them, placing them side by side on top of the cheese. This covers that side of the tortilla.

-Now fold the uncovered side over the filling and press down with the palms of your hands firmly so that the folded tortilla stays shut on it's own.

-Place the "Bake-A-Dilla" inside of the oven on top of the aluminum foil and wait approximately 6 minutes or until the tortilla starts to brown.

-Once complete, remove the "Bake-A-Dilla" from the oven and serve!

-You should now be enjoying a crispy, cheesy, delicious Bake-A-Dilla!
