1. I got tired of paying almost $5 for a tiny bottle of Kung Pao sauce.

Here's my recipe:

1/2 cup water
2 T soy sauce
2 T rice vinegar
2 T Annie Chun's Korean Sweet Hot Sauce
1 T agave
1 T Tapitio or other hot sauce, preferable without vinegar

1 T cornstarch mixed with 1 T water

Mix & heat the top ingredients in a small sauce pan. When the mixture comes to a boil, add the cornstarch/water & whisk until the sauce gets thick & glistens. This makes a pretty spicy sauce, so back off the Korean sweet hot sauce if you like it mild. I cook Udon noodles, pour the sauce on top, add steamed broccoli, cubes of baked tofu & some peanuts for a scrumptious meal!
