58 people have been murdered in London so far this year. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/8273147/london-murder-rate-2019/ The population of London is 8.136 million. In contrast, Washington DC has had 71 homicides so far this year, https://mpdc.dc.gov/page/district-crime-data-glance, with a population of only 633,427. Do the math, Spanky. Your town would have had 745 homicides if it had been the same size as London.
