At the meeting I went to tonight there were several members there with 25+ years and they're still there every week. I have three years, as of April. No matter how long you're in either program, life still happens and there will always be these times when a drink, or anything else, sounds good.

It sounds like you have a lot going on right now, so it's not at all surprising that your cravings will reappear. Meetings and talking to fellow members is what you need right now, support from those who really do understand.

I certainly do understand, still take many days "One Day at a Time," especially if I'm under stress. It's a long time habit to turn to what I always did to relieve that stress, but being aware is half the battle. It's good that you recognize it and are talking about it.
