I just passed 29 years alcohol free in October. Funny thing is for the last 7 years I have been working 1800 miles away from home. I live downtown and I last counted 8 bars within staggering distance of my apartment. I only go to one of them because they make a good black and blue bacon burger. They only have Pepsi products though so that is a downer. I found the further I get from the last drink it seems to get easier till you don't really think about it anymore, at least in my case that's true. Some still struggle so you mileage may vary.
