I’ve been going on benzodiazepines for many years, it has helped me but has side effects. One of my tricks is some lavender oil on the pillow case. It’s great to breathe it in and helps settle and tamper me down.

I come from a thoughts and prayers family. While I believe in God the “prayers” seem to me more pitying than support. I just say thanks and move on and focus on my stuff. I cannot control them and just focus on things I can do for myself.

Good luck and breathing is a huge key.
