My experience is the best way to alleviate an anxiety is to examine the problem and come up with a plan. Don’t try to ignore it because it will wake you up in the middle of the night with cold sweats.

Figure out as best you can what your income will be, what your expenses will be, and come up with a budget. Your budget might show your income falling short, but you will know by how much, and you can start to think about how to address it. In my experience, once you start to address the problem, the anxiety immediately starts to fall away. For me, the anxiety derives more from the failure to do anything than from the problem itself. And once you take the first step, ideas start to come to you, and the problem becomes easier to talk about and work through.
