light had already been used pretty successfully, so they added sound.
they found a low hertz frequency, at the edge of human hearing, that caused circulation of spinal fluid to ramp up. it cleaned up the garbage.
i immediately thought about this type of app, or white noise machines, adding those tones.

this happens in good rem sleep. seems to me it could be goosed, and tho this was alzheimer's research, i'm assuming it would affect brain health in general.
and damn, do we need more of that.
