I've tried several of the vegi-burger brand burgerss. I really didn't like any of them except for the impossible burger. My wife and I ate at the only restaurant in Pensacola that had them several years ago. She ordered an Angus beef burger and I got the impossible burger. I tasted them side by side. There was initially a strange flavor associated with the IB, but that seemed to go away fairly quickly. After the taste test, I have to admit to enjoying the IB over the AB. I've since done the same taste test with the Impossible Whopper with the same result. I actually prefer the Impossible Whopper over the real thing.

I wish they would amp up production and start selling it at the local supermarkets. I'd eat it and would most likely replace real meat with them on occasion.

I've asked the local Burger King cashiers if the IW sells very well. They tell me that it's a hit around here. In a county where 70% of the registered voters are registered republican, the Impossible Burger is a hit. Go figure.

Fire up the grill and proceed to cook them (nt) Hugh_Lebowski May 2021 #1
